What Is A CAKE Tracking Link?
The CAKE Tracking Link is a campaign specific URL that allows affiliates to redirect traffic to an advertiser's offer/landing page. The link is used to track clicks and provides attribution for any subsequent conversions from that traffic.
How To Generate A CAKE Tracking Link From The Campaign Card
To generate a CAKE Tracking Link from the Campaign Card, follow these steps:
Click on the Home tab of the Campaign Card
Click the Generate Link button
Validate the Affiliate and Campaign are correct
Select the Creative from the dropdown
Click Next
Click on the Unique Link to copy
How To Send Creatives And Tracking Links From The Campaign Card
To send a complete Creative Pack, which includes both CAKE Tracking Links and Creative Files, follow these steps:
Click on the Home tab of the Campaign Card
Click on the Send Creatives button
Select the Contact or All Contacts for the affiliate contacts you want to email
Select the Creative Type or All Creative Types to email to the Affiliate
Select the Creative or All Creatives
Click Next to email the Creative Pack
Your affiliate must have a contact with a deliverable email address before you can send a Creative Pack.
