Frequently Asked Questions

Will tracking be affected during the maintenance?

No. Clicks and conversions will continue to be recorded normally throughout the maintenance window. Your tracking infrastructure will not be impacted.

Will data be lost during this maintenance?

No data will be lost. Any reporting delays are temporary and will resolve once the maintenance is complete. All clicks and conversions are being tracked and stored normally.

Will conversions that occur during the maintenance appear in reports later?

Yes. Conversions tracked during the maintenance window will be processed and appear in reports once reporting services are fully restored.

If issues persist after the maintenance window, please contact CAKE Support with details of the behavior observed. Include specific error messages, API endpoints affected, and timestamps when possible.

What You Need to Do

For most customers: Nothing. Tracking will continue normally and no action is required.

If you use reporting APIs:

  • Consider scheduling automated reporting processes to run after 12:00 PM UTC (4:00 AM PST)
  • Implement retry logic for API calls during the maintenance window
  • Be aware that reporting data may be temporarily unavailable

If you rely on real-time reporting:

  • Plan accordingly for the 30-60 minute window when reports may be unavailable
  • Remember that all data is still being tracked and will appear in reports after maintenance

If you have any questions regarding this scheduled maintenance, please reach out to your dedicated CAKE Client Success Manager/Account Manager or to the CAKE Support Team at support@getCAKE.com.
