How to Manage Campaign Caps in the CAKE Mobile App (iOS)

What are Campaign Caps?


The Campaign Caps determines how much traffic your affiliate is allowed to run to the Offer in a given time period. The types of Campaign Caps are as follows:


  • Click Cap

  • Conversion Cap


Note:

CAKE also supports Event Caps, however, managing Event Caps in the app is currently unavailable.



How to Manage Campaign Caps in the App


To change a Campaign Cap in the mobile app, follow these steps:


  1. Tap Lists from the main navigation on the bottom of your screen

  2. Search for the Affiliate to access the Campaign

  3. Tap the name of the Affiliate from the search results

  4. Tap Campaigns 

  5. Select the Campaign from the list of options

  6. Tap Edit on the top right of the screen

  7. Input a Click Cap or Conversion Cap amount

  8. Select the Click Cap Interval or Conversion Cap Interval

    1. Options include: None, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Custom

  9. Tap Apply for the cap interval

  10. Tap Save on the top right of the screen



If you’re on the Affiliate Report, the Campaign details can be accessed from there. To update Caps follow these steps:


  1. Tap the Affiliate name

  2. Tap Drill Down by Campaign 

  3. Tap the Campaign name

  4. Tap Campaign Details 

  5. Tap Edit on the top right of the screen

  6. Input a Click Cap or Conversion Cap amount

  7. Select the Click Cap Interval or Conversion Cap Interval

    1. Options include: None, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Custom

  8. Tap Apply for the cap interval

  9. Tap Save on the top right of the screen



FAQ


What happens when a Cap is met on the Campaign?

When a Campaign Cap is met, the Campaign will no longer accept traffic for the time interval of the cap and will redirect traffic to an Offer specified in the Redirect Strategy or the Global Redirect.


Is there anything that can override my Campaign Cap?

    Yes, if an Offer or Offer Contract level Cap is met prior to the Campaign Cap being met.
